I recently hunted this 50-acre gem in Langlade County during the late whitetail season, and it was a fantastic experience. The property’s mix of pasture, forest, and wetlands made it a perfect spot for deer, with plenty of food, cover, and water to keep them around even in December’s chill. I got there before dawn, the air biting cold and frost crunching underfoot as I crossed the pasture to set up along the forest edge—a spot I’d scouted earlier thanks to some helpful tips from the landowner. This lease is a hunter’s dream: challenging terrain, tons of game, and a real sense of wilderness. I’m already eyeing a return trip.
