Spring Creek Fishery Area is a 72.73-acre property located approximately 1.6 miles north of Hertel in Burnett County. It is comprised of a mix of aspen stands, northern hardwoods, swamp hardwoods, black spruce, lowland brush and a spring pond. Spring Creek Springs is the headwaters of Spring Creek which flows north into the Yellow River. Spring Creek is classified as Class I trout water.
The original 42.73 acres of Spring Creek Fishery area was purchased in 1967 with an additional 30 acres being added in 1987.
