Memberships available with an established Fish and Game Club. We are looking to increase our core membership for our lease in the eastern portion of the Adirondack Park just north of the town of Lewis. Just 10 minutes (6.5 miles) from I-87, Exit 32. The club is primarily established for big game hunting but other activities are available during off-season such as fishing, hiking, ATV riding, horseback riding, camping, kayaking, snowmobile riding, cross-country skiing and more. We are looking for a few more responsible and committed members willing to pay reasonable dues to maintain the property, facilities and operating costs. We are looking to maintain a small core membership, just enough to cover costs and not overload the property.
The club property consists of almost 2,900 acres of an 11,400 acre track of private, not paper company land. The club property contains Lawson Pond, a 27 acre lake at the northern section of the property. In addition to Lawson Pond, the property also contains Coonrod Pond, Ore Bed Pond, additional smaller ponds, Doyle Brook and Hale Brook, a natural hatchery stream for Brook Trout. There are well maintained trails running throughout the property. The main access road is a well maintained gravel road that runs along our western boundary. The cabin complex contains a lodge, 3 cabins and a bunkhouse.
Want to experience camping in the Adirondacks? Our club provides the opportunities for several types of camping adventures. Set up a tent and camp primitive style next to a lake, stream or somewhere out in the wilderness. We also have several spots to set up next to our 27 acre lake. If you would rather bring a camper, we also have a large level area to set up campers. With our well established main road providing easy access, you can haul a trailer or drive up in a Class A motorhome. Although there are no hookups, we have barrels to transport water from our camp well and a holding tank to transfer your black/grey water. There is also a campground within 5 miles of our camp.
