To help offset our costs this year - my dad and I are looking to offer one 5 day hunt on our personal hunting lease. Please see below for info - contact me with questions or seeking additional information.
We will only consider offering this hunt to highly respectful hunters that will abide by our basic rules.
Location: Bracken County, KY (Closest Town: Brooksville, KY)
Acres: 250 (175 acres of woods, 75 acres of fields including food plots, row crops and pasture)
Deer Density: High - plenty of deer and many nice bucks
Lodging Included? Yes - Cabin with 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms, Living Area and Kitchen
Walk-In Deer Cooler: Yes!
Is there a Fishing Pond?: Yes - stocked full of bass, catfish & bluegill - bring your pole!
How many hunters?: Two hunters will be able to hunt 5 days (we will also consider a single hunter)
4 Acres of Food Plots (forage beans & clover - additional plots of wheat/rye/oats will be planted in September) and 6 acres of Row Crops (Soybeans) in Place
5 Shooting Houses
6 Ladder Stands / 2 Lock On Stands
Feeders and Mineral Sites in Place
What dates are available? Any dates after November 22
How will the hunt work? We will meet prior to your hunt to get you settled in the cabin, show the property boundaries, stand locations, etc. There will be an atv on site for you to use or you can bring your own. I'll be on call to answer any questions or assist if needed. You and your buddy will be the only hunters on the property. The remainder of the year will only be hunted by me and my family. The property will not be over hunted or pressured. This will be equivalent to going on a semi-guided hunt but only you will be there.
You can use any legal hunting method that is in season during your dates.
130" Minimum on Buck - one doe harvest permitted per hunter as well
Each hunter may bring one non-hunting guest to stay at the cabin
Cost: $3000 for a week (5 days) Includes two hunters and two non-hunting guests.
Deposit: 1/2 to reserve (non-refundable) and remainder due at time of hunt
If things go well, this could be continued for future years as well.
