Out of state hunters Hotels, and private cabin rentals within 20 minutes of the farm in Kittanning Pennsylvania. Not included in the hunt. Only licensed hunters can be on the property. I have only four hunting areas available at one time. North end, South end, West end, and Grantz end. This beautiful farm with 67 acres of rolling hills and woodlots offers prime opportunities for successful hunts year after year. The landowner’s attention to habitat, food plots, and water sources make this property in Armstrong County, PA a very functional and diverse place for turkey and whitetail hunting. Additionally, if you are a disabled veteran or have limited mobility, the landowner has created a friendly outdoor environment equipped to accommodate hunters with disabilities. Walking around this property was delightful and reminded me of a farm where my father and I enjoyed many whitetail hunts together when I was a kid. Seasonal food sources like acorns, old apple trees, clover fields, and radish and sugar beet plots provide optimal locations for tree stand placement, ground blind concealment, and space to spot and stalk. Two creeks run through the farm providing wildlife with a regular water supply. Although the landowner has several ladder stands already placed in strategic locations, you can bring your own saddle, stand, or blind, and position your setup on one of the many pinch points, funnels, field edges, logging trails, or wooded sections that suits your hunting style. If you find that filling your tags is primarily based on hunting the right wind conditions, this property provides strategic downwind opportunities to hunt regardless of wind direction. This lease is in WMU 2D and offers turkey and whitetail hunting with a generous allotment of doe quotas being offered for this year. There is abundant wildlife sign, and after seeing multiple deer, heavily used trails, and bedding areas during my visit, I am confident that this location is going to provide some great memories again this season. Entrance onto this property is readily accessible and parking is convenient. On-site tent camping is available, and there is plenty of room for your RV, although hook-up is not currently set-up.
