This is a little nugget of a property in Eastman, GA (Dodge County). At around 33 acres, this tract is situated between two ponds surrounded by tree cover. Upon approaching one of the ponds, I jumped a very large buck in velvet and observed a fawn on the other side of the pond who never saw me. This track has a nice pine and hardwood mix cluster bordered next to an open cut field that has greened over offering plenty of food. There are also large acre fields bordering this property which will be helpful for visibility during the rut. The sign was heavy for deer as I noticed several rubs and game trails with tracks.
