The 204 +/- acres offer excellent access, hardwood and pine forest including many acorn and nut trees, bluffs and rock outcroppings, pasture/hay fields, meadows, creeks, many year-round springs, 3 large wooded spring-fed ponds, deer feeders, extensive logging roads, over 1-mile of cleared utility easement with existing 2-person tree stand, extensive game signs (rubs, scat, tracks, feathers, bedding areas, etc.), of recent activity by deer, elk, coyote, bobcat, mountain lion, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, woodcock and duck, plus recent game camera footage of deer, hog, coyote, and turkey. Bear are excluded from the lease.
4 wheelers and side by sides are welcome. There is a place to park your RV but no hookup. There are also shipping containers and an outhouse on the property that are available to lease for a cabin stay.
There is a PLE (Private Land Elk Tag) available to the lessee without having to go through the state lottery.
The 204 +/- acre lease is a part of a 250-acre ranch. The owner retained approximately 40 acres of bottom land for the family homestead, grazing and hunting. There is a skinning station, a walk-in meat cooler and a walk-in hand-hewn log smokehouse not included in the lease, but available for the lessee's use.
This lease is limited to 2 adult hunters (4 total including children).
