About This Lease

Area owned by the Dept. of Agriculture and leased for farming. Daily permits required for small game and waterfowl hunting in marsh area (does not include goose fields 1E,1W, 2 or 3). Marsh permits are only available on-line. Goose field permits are only available at Franklin Swamp WMA, Mon-Friday, 391 Route 32, North Franklin, (860) 424-5952. No access permits will be issued until after the corn is cut (usually mid-late September). A daily permit is not required to archery hunt deer or turkey, or firearms hunt turkey on this area.
