We have 175 acres of prime Rio Grande turkey hunting habitat. Our land is adjacent to public hunting ground, so when the turkey feel the hunting pressure, guess where they go?! We have a deep (usually dry) creek bed that splits a 52 acre field that is perfect for running and gunning on either side. There is a mix of tall hardwoods where the turkey roost and lots of mesquite trees where they like to forage. Our Rio's are very vocal and hearing 100+ gobbles a day is pretty average. There are 2 ponds on our property as well as a stock tank where the turkey like to gather. Another area that would also be very productive is the area where we put hay out for the cattle. This is on the edge of the woods and the turkey visit to scratch there almost daily. Each lease will be for 3 days and the cost is $600 per hunter. The property will accommodate up to 6 hunters. All game regulations will be adhered to and a liability waiver must be signed.
