EXCLUSIVE ACCESS. ONE PARTY. NEVER LEASED BEFORE. UNDER AN HOUR FROM CHARLESTON.
PRICE: $3,990 covers the whole lease, every season listed below, now through February 28, 2027. Not per season, not per hunter.
Just under an hour from downtown Charleston, nearly all of it on interstate: take I-79 to Exit 40 (Big Otter), then about 10 minutes of paved road to the gate. Close enough for a weekend, an evening sit, or a quick check of your cameras.
454 acres of wooded West Virginia hills that have never been offered for lease. For years it has been a family hunter's favorite spot. Now one group gets the whole place to itself: no other lease, no day hunters, nobody else in your woods.
Black bears on the trail camera and deer on the ground. Water draws them in: Katy Run winds through part of the property, and there is a pond with a story. In the 1960s, when the government took land to build I-79 nearby, the owner negotiated to have them build a pond here to increase wildlife. Judging by the bears, it has done its job.
Lease now and you can bowhunt the November rut, then hunt buck gun season from November 23 and keep going for small game through the end of February. An old logging road gives you a way in and a way around.
