About This Lease
A dam maintains a 125-acre waterfowl impoundment. The marsh includes shallow emergent and scrub/shrub vegetation. The upland forest surrounding the marsh consists largely of white pine, hemlock and red oak. A bridge and logging road downstream of the dam leads to an old farmstead, where five acres of old fields have been restored and are maintained.
