Kepley Wildlife Area is a 160 acre property that is located 5 1/2 miles south and 6 miles west of Ulysses. The property is in the shortgrass prairie of western Kansas and consists mainly of native grasses and forbs.
Hunting:
The area is managed as a public hunting area. The main species hunted on the area are pheasants, bobwhite quail, mourning doves, and rabbits. However, white-tailed deer and mule deer can also be occasionally found on the area.
