There is also a sizeable timber block that runs to the northeast off the farm which should help funnel deer down to this farm so they can feed in the corn field. This farm is a short approx 2 hour drive from Chesterfield, MO. Hotel lodging, food and gas is available in Shelbina, MO (approx 5 minutes away) and in Monroe City, MO (approx 15-20 minutes away). Mark Twain Lake is also nearby which offers fantastic fishing and boating. MO DNR implemented an antler point restriction in this county and other northern MO counties years ago which helped to only improve an already good buck population and increase the age structure of the bucks at the same time!
