This lease is one quarter of a larger 2600-acre lease in Kiowa, CO, (Elbert County).  While walking around the property, I observed a cluster of trees to the far east in this section. Suspecting there might be deer using the cover, I sent the drone and in fact confirmed there were several animals staying cool and hiding in the heat of the day. The wide-open range is ripe for an active herd of antelope and the native grass and CRP provide plenty of food. The size of this tract provides more than enough room to position a few hunters safely and almost guarantees filled tags if the shooting is straight!
