This lease is one quarter of a larger 2600-acre lease in Kiowa, CO, (Elbert County). The largest of the 4 tracts at 795 acres, this parcel has much to offer. With a low depression area towards the south end of the tract, the deer and antelope sign were very heavy. There is lots of cover for the game to bed down and escape the elements. There is a nice food and water source and the mourning dove activity was obvious as well. There was also coyote sign for those wanting to aid in reducing their numbers. This spot has several ridgelines bordering it from the east making it a down-wind position that will give you a major advantage to deer and antelope using the trees.
