We have not offered hunts in a couple years because of a limited pheasant population due to continued drought. The last couple of years have been better but not what they used to be. We have missed having hunters on the ranch so this year, we are offering one hunt for a group of four. This hunt will include three days of hunting and 4-5 nights of lodging depending on your travel schedule. The hunt must occur on a weekend either Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday. The birds will be a mix of wild and stocked birds to ensure a good hunt. A guide and dog is included or you can bring your own dog(s). Lodging at the ranch is included which is a full home with Kitchen and several bedrooms and bathrooms. Hunts will include one family style meal at supper, a packed lunch, and a light breakfast. There is potential for transportation assistance from the Rapid City Regional or Pierre airport, schedule dependent. This is not a preserve, these are a mix of wild birds and stocked birds. The ranch follows the general South Dakota pheasant hunting rules including season dates, hunting hours and bag limits Each hunter is responsible for obtaining their own SD hunting license. Group must have four hunters for a cost of $1,650.00 per hunter You will be hunting a large cattle ranch with abundant farm land mixed throughout. The ranch is located 11 miles North of Philip SD. It has vast rolling pastures, creek bottoms, grassy draws and a mix of farm land.
