These hunts are for three days of hunting and lodge accommodations for four nights. They are unguided, but you will get a tour of the property upon your arrival. The package does not include bird cleaning, but I can direct you to local people who will do that for you if you so desire. The package does not include meals, but the local bar - restaurant is walking distance from the lodge. Dogs are allowed in the rooms but there is a $75 fee for each dog staying in the rooms and the dogs must be kenneled while in the rooms.
Bow hunters are welcome and we would allow a deer stand if you wanted to.
The hunts are $1,500 per person and you could have your own room for that price. Several rooms have two beds, so if you shared a room with a friend or relative, we would knock the price down to $1,400 per person.
If you want to stay extra days, it is $350 extra per day/night, including the room, per person.
If you want the whole property to yourself and your friends - family, there is a nine (9) person minimum. This would guarantee that no one else was hunting the property during your stay.
The land is all contiguous so you literally could spend all day walking it. The property for the most part is two miles wide and runs five miles south of the Lake Pocasse National Wildlife Refuge. You are allowed to hunt anything on the property that you are properly licensed for. All state of SD rules and regulations apply. No hunting is allowed in any area where cattle are grazing. Also, all hunters must be respectful of fields and crops. Please don't litter and shut any gates you open. Violation of the above listed items would void your remaining days with no refund.
