Each year I only offer 4 weeks of archery rut hunting in order to keep the hunting experience premiere! Three of the four weeks for 2026 have been filled by returning hunter groups which always have booking priority. I still have one week available for a 2026 archery rut hunt: The first hunting group to reserve will have the choice of being FIRST HUNTERS IN for the week of October 18-24 or the later week of November 15-21. This is a premier property of 400+ acres that has been carefully managed for both quality and quantity of whitetail. Trail cameras will be back out in late summer. This is a free-range hunt meaning I'm not going to stick you in a tree stand and make you stay there all day! Stands, platforms, blinds are available for your use or you may bring your own. Food plots and mineral licks are maintained year-round for good deer nutrition and health. You (and the deer and luck!) control your hunt! Hunts include lodging in a large and beautiful log cabin on the property. The posted price is for the each of the first four hunters with discounts for additional hunters in a group. Only accepting up to 6 hunters for the week. As a longtime property owner, I have quite a collection of trail camera photos and pictures of harvested big bucks that I am willing to share with those with a serious interest in booking a hunt. Eagle Rock Adventures is offering four weeks of premium archery rut deer hunts in the center of Ohio’s big buck country from late-October thru mid/late-November. This is a free range hunt. Hunters will have full access to 440 acres of prime hunting property in NW Guernsey county that has been carefully managed for the past 14+ years for the optimal hunting experience. Property habitat is a mix of mature hardwood forests, meadows, crops fields, brushy areas, lake, and streams. Through thoughtful QDMA practices to include limited hunting and selective harvesting, there is a very nice population of trophy whitetail bucks on the property. The offered hunts are for Sunday check-in, property tours, sharing of deer habits/sightings, scouting, and assistance with preparing for your hunt. Free range hunts check in and set up on Sunday with hunting from Monday morning until Saturday dusk for six full days of hunting. Slight schedule deviations maybe be permitted. Property has pre-positioned tree stands, tripod, and ground blinds that can be used at your discretion. You are welcome to use and position your own hunting equipment. UTV and ATV are available on the property for assistance in retrieving your deer. Private lodging is provided in the beautiful Eagle Rock Lodge which is fully and very nicely equipped. I am looking for groups of experienced and ethical hunters with 4-6 hunters in each group as I will not be responsible for grouping hunters. Expect to be asked to provide hunting reference as I am selective. I am sharing some of the past trail camera buck pictures, but can provide greater access to 2025 and earlier pictures. It's difficult to upload trail camera photos with this app. I put cameras out in late summer and will share pics to confirmed hunters as I collect them. Price stated is per hunter for a week long archery rut hunt with lodging assuming the minimum of four hunters in the group. The per-hunter price would therefore be more for less than 4 hunters and less for greater than 4 hunters.
