Completely private, 200 acres of prime white tail, rough grouse, bear hunting and trapping land. Formerly a wild rice farm. An ATV trail will lead you into the property from vehicle/trailer parking area at the beginning of the farm road just off of Highway 21. Keep your eye out for grouse on the first leg of the forest canopy covered farm road. Pretty soon you'll come to an old bridge that crosses a stream chock full of walleye, bass, northern, and perch. The trail leads another 1/4 mile through lowlands into the old farmstead. Scope out the perfect area for your kids' deer stands, just past the ruins of an old Tamarack-log barn. Fallow wild rice patties and pastureland surrounded by high ground meadow and forest encompass the majority of the property. During a wet year (like this year), you might even nab yourself a couple of geese or ducks for Christmas dinner!
