South Sierra Hunting Lease offers access to 6,500 acres of bear and turkey hunting grounds surrounded by 1000s of Nature Conservancy acres that allow no hunting resulting in good bear and turkey populations throughout the area. This area is located in D9 hunting zone in Kern county. While hunting this area, you will not see any other hunters as all entrances have locked gates. There is excellent access with miles of jeep and ATV trails throughout the ranch. This area has many diverse hunting areas from hill tops, ridges, deep canyons with water, hillsides with both northern and southern exposures. Wildlife will move in and out of these areas based on forage availability at various times of the year. Bear Hunting: $9000/season - limited to 3 bears per year - 1 party with 3 hunters Turkey Hunting: $350/day/hunter Check CDFW for season dates and hunting regulations A pre-hunt scouting tour is required for safety and to improve hunting success There is a comfortable 3 bedroom house with all the comforts of home for rent.
