-We will have a club cookout in August. We are a family oriented club, so bring your family along! We will also have a shooting competition on our steel deer from a treestand.
-Workdays throughout the year.
All members, who are available, are welcome to help but it’s not mandatory.
***Property Description***
*Dillon is 1,200 acres mostly composed of large agricultural fields, corn, soybeans, cotton, and peanuts. Dividing up these large fields are some overgrown ditches and wood-lines that help funnel deer. There’s a big creek on the eastern property line and a couple hundred acres of old growth timber in the swamp. There’s definitely a few monster bucks living on this property. This would also be a great tract for duck and dove hunting. We have a mix of stand setups, with some having a max shot distance of 100yds, and others offering shot opportunities out to 500yds or more. Turkey hunting is not allowed on this tract.
*Cheraw is 1,600 acres, about 60% pasture/fields, 30% hardwood bottoms/old growth timber, and 10% swamp. 2 major creeks run through this property with a couple of ponds in the middle. This is prime deer habitat that has been trophy managed for years. Most of these stands are setup for shots inside 300yds, but we have a few which offer shot opportunities over 500yds. Turkey and duck hunting is not allowed on this tract.
*Teals Mill is 200 acres and is about 60% 5 year old pines, 30% 10 year old pines, and 10% old growth timber in the swamp by the creek. We call this tract The Wild West, we don’t have any age or antler restrictions in this tract. This tract has a high deer and turkey population and the surrounding areas don’t receive much hunting pressure. Most shot opportunities are inside 300yds. This is the only tract that turkey hunting is allowed.
***TRM Trophy Club Rules***
Violation of ANY Rules will result in removal from the club with no refund!!!!
*Everyone must sign a waiver before entering club property.
*Treat all firearms as if they’re always loaded.
*Always point firearms in a safe direction.
*Keep your finger off the trigger until you’re on target and ready to fire.
*Be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.
*Keep firearms unloaded until you’re in your stand and ready to hunt.
*Always wear eye/ear protection while you’re on club property.
* Swimming in Ponds and Creeks is prohibited.
*If you have to open any gate, close it securely, immediately after you enter.
*The Hunt Stand App must be used for all stand reservations.
*If you can’t make your reservation for any reason, that reservation must be canceled ASAP to free up that stand. Failure to do so will result in being restricted from making reservations for 2 weeks.
*Reservations may not be made more than 14 days in advance.
*Members may not reserve any specific stand more than 3 days per 10 day period.
*If you bring a guest/child, they must sign a waiver, you must accompany them on the property, both stand must be reserved, their harvest will go against your total, and you’re responsible for any fines they may incur.
* Personal Stands will only be allowed during bow season, Aug 15th-Aug 31st.
Each member is allowed 1 personal stand (lock-on/climber only) and may not be within 50yds of the property line. Stand location must be shared with management and added to the Huntstand app which must be reserved while hunting. No limit on number of days reserved. Personal stand may not be within 300yds of other personal stands, first come, first serve. These stands must be removed before Sept 1st.
Owner of personal stand assumes all liability and risk of any bodily injury, including death, should that occur.
*Harness Required while climbing and hunting tree stands.
*5 Personal trail cameras max per member.
*Personal trail cameras are not allowed within 100yds of any club cameras.
*No one is allowed within 100yds of any club feeder for any reason other than to recover a wounded animal.
*No one is allowed in any marked sanctuary for any reason other than to recover a wounded animal.
*You may not harvest more than 6 deer TOTAL- 2 bucks and 4 doe.
*ANY AND ALL HARVEST/ATTEMPTED HARVEST, MUST BE reported immediately to club management along with photo of harvest if successful. You must text management immediately after you pull the trigger.
*Any attempted buck harvest, that draws blood, will go against your total.
*All Buck harvest MUST BE aged and scored by club management within 10 days of harvest. Bring antlers and jawbone.
**$500 Fine. 1st Buck MUST BE at least 4 years old OR 125”. Exemption for Teals Mill tract.
**$500 Fine. 2nd Buck MUST BE at least 4 years old AND 135”. Exemption for Teals Mill tract.
**$500 Fine. YOU MUST harvest 3 does before you’re allowed to harvest your second buck.
**Fines must be paid within 10 days, or you will lose your membership without refund.
*YOU WILL NOT be allowed to reserve a stand for the remainder of the season after you harvest your 2nd buck.
*Miss/Wounding Consequences: We understand that mistakes happen, however you are responsible for all your and your guests' shots. If you or your guest miss/wound any animal during deer season:
First offense- noted with no consequences.
Second offense- HuntStand reservations revoked until you or your guest pays $100 to take a mandatory 1-hour private training lesson from TRM Gun Range. HuntStand privileges will return upon successful completion of private training. Consequences will start over.
*Night hunting coyotes/hogs/coons allowed EXCEPT during deer season.
*The duck impoundment on the Cheraw tract is strictly off limits.
*No running dogs during deer season.
*No turkey hunting on the Cheraw and Dillon tracts.
*No duck hunting on the Cheraw tract.
*To duck hunting, you must reserve the Duck Hole Stand and any/all stands within 300yds of the Duck Hole Stand.
