This property walk was so much fun! Meeting with the landowner and main guide was very enjoyable! This parcel of land has so much to offer for hunters of any experience level. With a mixture of forest, tall trees, low wetland, thick pines as well as trails and CRP grass with crop fields, this place has everything that giant whitetail buck is looking for. There were tracks all over the place, plenty of trails being used by the deer and recent rubs that I found on my walk. There is a small creek and a river that runs near the back of the property with many areas for the deer to hide, travel along ridge lines and use as bedding areas. A trail system goes around the perimeter of the property making for a nice easy ride on the ATV in and out on your guided trip. The main blind will offer shots from any direction with deer being visible from hundreds of yards away. There is a nice wood stove in the blind and plenty of space to hangout and relax on your hunt. Your guided hunt includes everything from the hunt, shooting the deer, field dressing the deer as well as taking it back to camp to the cleaning station to get your deer meet cleaned up and ready for the first meal not to mention great conversations during the entire process. There is an option to stay at the Deer Camp located on the property as well that can be added to your trip. The guide told me they have had as many as 7 people sleep in the Camp at the same time. This is a great opportunity for that experienced hunter to shoot a giant buck or have that youth hunter in your life get that first deer and an experience of a lifetime. Spring turkey could be an option as well with approval from the guide. Prices are $500 per day for Buck hunts plus a trophy fee and $250 per day for Doe hunts.
