This property has a great variety of fields, woods, pines and high grassy areas all over the place that the whitetail here in Michigan will use all year. The terrain on this land is very flat in some areas but as I walked into the woods and the northern parts of this property, there are many low points and transitions that the deer are using as travel routes. It became very obvious to me that the high grassy areas just off the edge of the hay field are being used as bedding areas especially the spots that are close to the thick woods on the east side and the north west side of the property. Another thing that will help keep deer around and attract them to this area are the amount of apple trees, wild berries and raspberries that are on this property. I found many trails leading up to the apple trees and if you look closely in the drone videos you can see a few of these trails leading to the trees. The variety this property has to offer will allow hunters to set up and hunt almost any way they prefer to hunt, ground blind on the edge of the field, tree stand in the woods or setup multiple spots to approach your areas in any wind direction. There is also the option of a rental on the property that can be negotiated with the landowner. Don’t pass up this awesome opportunity to have a great hunting experience in Northern Michigan!!
