I absolutely loved my time walking this property in Marquette County MI. As a deer hunter myself, I found this parcel of land to be the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quite of the outdoors while having an excellent chance to tag a deer. From what I could tell It seems this property hasn’t been hunted in years. There is a nice trail system that runs around the area and will allow you to access your hunting location in any wind direction to not disturb the deer that live in these woods. The combination of open forest, thick pines and low wetlands area is the perfect combination of woods for the whitetail in the area to live. It was very obvious that the herd in this area of the Upper Peninsula are very healthy from the amount of droppings I found all over the place! As I moved closer to the west portion of this 40 acres I came across a nice low spot that the deer travel through as they are using the terrain to move along some of the low spots. This could be a nice area to setup a blind or stand along the ridge and see if almost any direction. As I continued my walk I came across many open ares in the forest that would be great for another blind or stand and almost all of these spots had trails with more droppings all over. These 40 acres setup perfect to tag a nice Michigan Whitetail as you enjoy your time in this beautiful area of the state!
