Pecan Springs Ranch is located in Coke County, 8 miles west of Robert Lee off Highway 158. Pecan Creek runs through the ranch. This creek is a seasonal creek which flows in the early part of the year and gradually diminishes to isolated pools of water during the end of summer. The water levels and flow varies with the yearly rainfall. Pecan Springs Ranch has several tracts which border Lake E. V. Spence. The lake is currently at 10.6% capacity (3,500 surface acres). There has not been water in the portion of the lake which borders Pecan Springs Ranch for over 20 years. The lake bed which borders the ranch belongs to the Colorado River Municipal Water District. All purchasers whose land borders this property can use it for recreational purposes. Lake E. V. Spence boat ramps are minutes away from the ranch, with 3,500 surface acres there is plenty of water for boating, skiing and fishing. The terrain on the ranch varies from level to gently rolling with a large ridge bisecting the ranch. There are some beautiful views from this ridge and other high points on the ranch.
