Property is 30 acres with a dead end gravel road running through it. It would be 40 acres if you included the road. You may hunt and shoot off the road. There is trout stream that runs the full length of the property so good lowland cover and habitat. The high ground has a large tag alder and cedar swamp on west side of the road. The rest of the property is woodland with pine, spruce, tamarack, maple and popple tree’s and a large amount of apple trees . The property has a very large population of whitetail deer that I have been practicing QDM For 30 years. On an average year I have around 8 140+ bucks frequently using the property and many smaller bucks.It also has a large population of rabbits, turkeys partridge ducks and geese. In the past 30 years I have harvested many bucks over 140 inches. the largest shot off the property was over 200 inches in 1983 There are three locations that I have been using as stands for 30 years that are proven locations to harvest a very nice buck. You may of course put a stand anywhere you choose too as mine are climbing tree stands. This property is on the edge of town and you can walk to the store or bar in less than ten minutes. The casino is 18 miles south The largest 4 wheeler and snowmobile trail in upper Michigan runs across the driveway. Anyone who leases this property for whitetail deer may also hunt anything else you have a license for. Nobody but me has hunted this property in over 30 years. I have not put cameras out this year because I have been working but I would assume this year’s population is about the same as always.
