We have a great piece of hunting land here up for lease. With the amount of recent activity you can’t beat this lease especially for the yearly price it is listed at! I walked this land not even a full 48 hours after this area was hit with 7-9 inches of snow, so all tracks and trails in my photos were very fresh. While on this property I also saw two different bucks running off on the south end of this parcel. This is a very diverse piece of land offering a little bit of everything a whitetail needs. Nice pines on the north side with that gets very very thick on the north east side of the property. As I made my was through this land to the south it slowly opened up and I came across a nice old trail system that was carved out through the woods. Along this trail system I came across multiple blinds and one in particular in the middle of the property was my favorite. It was placed in a very nice spot with shooting lanes in front and a great view in both directions down the trail system. Even with the deep snow I was able to find multiple rubs and it also seems like the deer are using many overhanging limbs near the trails as licking branches. There is farmland that borders the property on the west side giving these deer easy access to a food source not far at all from their bedding areas. You have some nice open areas already in place that can set up nicely for new food plots as well as good areas to place a tree stand or pop ups. When talking with the landowner it does not sound like this area has been hunted at all in recent years so this is a great opportunity to have it to yourself and take down a solid Michigan whitetail!
