ACREAGE: 80 AC on both sides of Big Creek. PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Bottomland located on both sides of Big Creek including: 1. 60 acres of managed and un-managed moist soil units on the North side of the creek. Managed units are filled with well water and pipe distribution system (water guaranteed every year). 2. 20 acres of timber and managed timber/moist soil units on the South side of the creek. Managed moist soil unit filled by pumping creek water. Pure timber hole requires flooding to fill. 3. Seven blinds available for hunting; four in the moist soil units and three in flooded timber/open bottomland. Best hunting when only 2-3 blinds are hunted at any time. 4. Blinds are rotated so as not to pressure waterfowl. ACCESS: 1. Access is generally by personal vehicles via county road and personal ATV’s off road when roads are too wet for trucks. 2. Periods of high flood flows require boats to access and/or hunt out of in some of the units. TYPES OF OUTDOOR ADVENTURES AVAILABLE: 1. Waterfowl - both ducks and geese. 2. Snipe and dove. 3. Furbearers (raccoon, squirrel, others as allowed by state law). 4. Deer by member only draw for two permits/year. 5. Bear by member only draw for one permit/year (and special state permit). 6. Alligator by member only draw (and special state permit). 7. Dog training (retrievers/flushers and pointers; sorry, no hounds allowed). A variety of water depths are available with islands, blinds, and a puppy training area. MEMBERSHIP TYPES AVAILABLE: 1. This is a membership ONLY club leased to a group of hunters for the season.
